SUPPORT GROUPS

EA|TEF: Support group for patients with esophageal atresia and tracheo- esophageal fistula.

Gastroschisis: A support group for patients with gastroschisis and their families.

Twin Hope: A website about twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and allied fetal conditions.

Twinstuff: A large informational site for multiples and their families. They manage a non-profit organization that assists families in need with twins and triplets.

TTTS Race for Hope/Fetal Hope Foundation: The TTTS Race for Hope was organized to save babies lives and to give hope to families by spreading awareness of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) and by funding medical research. It has since been expanded to include other fetal conditions as well.

Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation: Another website about twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and allied fetal conditions.

TwinTTTS is a non-profit site from down-under "dedicated to creating awareness of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrdome."

Breath of Hope, Inc. A nonprofit organization that offers support to parents of children with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, promotes awareness of the condition and encourages research.

ON-GOING CLINICAL TRIALS

PRENATAL TREATMENT FOR DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA

We are now conducting a pilot program to treat the most severe forms of diaphragmatic hernia before birth. Thanks to an Investigational Device Exemption from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), we now offer fetal tracheal occlusion using a minimally invasive technique.
