Medical Parents and Family Weekend 2008
October 24-26
Dear Parents and Families, As chairs of the Medical Parents Committee, we are delighted to invite you to Medical Parents and Family Weekend 2008. This fun-filled weekend offers an opportunity to learn more about Alpert Medical School, to see the beautiful campus where your medical student is learning and studying, and to meet the School's leadership, including the new dean of medicine and biological sciences, Edward J. Wing, MD.
This academic year marks our last as chairs of the Medical Parents Committee. Our son, George, is set to graduate in May, and we are ever grateful for Brown and for the Medical School that has prepared him well for a career in medicine.
We know the tremendous pride that each of you feels as you watch a loved one undertake the study of medicine. There's no better way to foster a sense of community with other medical parents and families than to be part of this festive weekend.
We hope to see you in Providence!
Sincerely,
Joan and George Turini P'05 MD'09
