Validation of Imaging Evaluations in Individuals with Alzheimer's Disease (VIEW-AD) Studies

What are the VIEW-AD Studies?

The primary goal of these studies is to evaluate multiple brain imaging markers for Alzheimer's disease and identify single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) compounds that most clearly distinguish Alzheimer's disease from healthy persons of similar age.  Clinical assessments are performed the Alzheimer's Disease & Memory Disorders Center.  SPECT studies are performed off-site at the brain imaging facility in New Haven, CT.  Contact Lindsay Miller at 444-0789.
