The Neurology Foundation, a faculty practice plan which contracts for the provision of neurology services with Rhode Island Hospital, is seeking two physicians to be employed full time. He/She will qualify for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The successful candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. Stroke Fellowship training and research experience in stroke required. The individuals selected must also have a record of accomplishment or promise as a teacher and as a clinician while also having a record of accomplishment in scholarly productivity appropriate and to the academic rank of initial appointment. This position is part of the long-term academic plan for the Rhode Island Hospital and Warren Alpert Medical School.

The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital is searching for a full-time faculty position to assume Directorship of the Division of Cerebrovascular Disease and of the Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Division is poised to undergo a major expansion. He/She will qualify for appointment at the rank appropriate to experience and accomplishments, up to Professor level. The successful candidate must be Board Certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. Vascular Neurology Fellowship training and research experience in stroke is required. The individual must also have a record of accomplishment as a teacher, as a clinician, while also having a record of accomplishment in scholarly productivity appropriate to the academic rank of initial appointment. The Neurology Foundation, Inc. a faculty practice plan which contracts for the provision of neurological services with Rhode Island Hospital, is searching for a full-time faculty person with expertise in neuro-oncology. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. If appointed at the senior rank, evidence of national reputation and scholarly productivity commensurate with that rank will be required. The applicant must be ABPN eligible or certified in neurology, preferably with fellowship training in neuro-oncology. The applicant must be qualified to assist with the development of a neuro-oncology clinical research program. The applicant will share in the outpatient and inpatient clinical services, teaching of residents and students, as well as engage in research.
