NMR is uniquely suited for the study of structure and dynamics of biomolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, oligosaccharides). The background and theoretical basis as well as practical application for the most commonly used experiments will be detailed. The course will assume a basic understanding of NMR, as obtained from organic chemistry. Although the material is aimed for graduate students, the course is suitable for advanced undergraduate students with an interest in applied spectroscopy.
