Room Use
It is expected that rooms be left in the same condition as they are found. Furniture and equipment may not be removed from a room without permission from the MDL.
If food or drink is being served, you must arrange for custodial clean up by calling or sending email to Sylvia Stickland in the Facilities and Support Services Office, BMC room 195; 401-863-3393.

University Lecture Rooms

The Registrar's Office handles the daily scheduling of lecture rooms (BMC 013, 119, 139 & J. Walter Wilson 061, 064) 8AM - 6PM


Carrie Furtado in the MDL office schedules these rooms for use after 6PM on weekdays and for use on the weekends.

Divisional Meeting Rooms

BMC Lecture/Laboratory Rooms

MDL Laboratory Rooms: To reserve laboratory space, contact MDL Director, Katherine Patenaude by sending email or by phone at 401-863-3464.

Card Access:
Rooms 012A, 012B, 012C, 012D, 015A, 015B, 015C, and 097 in the BMC are currently secured by a card-access system; the perimeter doors of the BMC are also secured after-hours by card access (Monday-Friday the doors are unlocked at 7:30 AM and locked at 5:15 PM, with the exception of the main entrance doors on Meeting Street, which remain open until 8:15 PM; Saturday and Sunday they remain locked all day). Applications for card access may be obtained from Sylvia Stickland in the Facilities and Support Services Office, BMC room 195. She may be called at 863-3393.
