Welcome to the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Brown

With nearly 60 faculty members, the Department of Diagnostic Imaging provides services in three of the Medical School's affiliated hospitals with more than 500,000 imaging examinations performed annually. Faculty members have subspecialty training and engage in a wide range of research programs, including studies on cancer imaging and brain and vascular imaging. ACGME accredited post-graduate training programs are offered in Radiology and Interventional Radiology.

The Department's Radiology residency program currently enrolls twenty-eight residents and graduates seven residents per year. The one-year fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology offers three positions each year. In addition, a body imaging fellowship offers one position per year.
