Brown Medical Annual Fund
One of the best ways to stay connected to the Medical School is to support the Brown Medical Annual Fund (BMAF).
Fifty-five percent of the BMAF is used for medical student financial aid. With about 75 percent of all medical students receiving aid this year, the BMAF is a critical source of scholarship funding.
The remainder of the fund supports medical curriculum initiatives. Currently, the BMAF is underwriting the costs of the Doctoring course and the Scholarly Concentrations Program.
Brown Public Health Annual Fund
Modeled after the successful Brown Medical Annual Fund, a new Brown Public Health Annual Fund (BPHAF) is being launched this year. The BPHAF provides current use dollars that are put to work immediately, providing funding for the Program in Public Health’s faculty development activities and for faculty research and travel. The Fund will also supply student scholarship funds for students receiving a master’s in public health and graduate students in other master’s and doctoral level programs throughout Public Health.
