Selection Factors

Applicants are selected on the basis of academic achievement, medical leadership/excellence, research experience and productivity, and commitment to community service. Candidates generally must present a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale). Applicants who have attended graduate school generally must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale). In addition, applicants must have completed requirements for the baccalaureate degree upon matriculation into the Medical School.
