2013 - 2014 Support
We expect the stipend for the clinical psychology residents paid by Butler Hospital to be $25,625. Clinical psychology residents receive health benefits for self, family, same sex partners. Sick leave, 10 days paid vacation and 10 days paid professional time to attend conferences, colloquium, job interviews, dissertation defense are provided. A $1,000 travel allowance to attend professional meetings is also provided.
We expect the stipend for the five clinical psychology residents paid by the Providence VAMC to be $26,208. Sick leave, 13 days paid vacation and 10 days paid professional time to attend conferences, colloquium, job interviews, dissertation defense are provided. VA provides health care benefits. By federal law, health benefits are also available to dependents and opposite-sex married partners of residents, but not to same-sex married partners. Although the Training Consortium makes every effort to ensure equal compensation, the clinical psychology residents paid by the VA may pay more for their health insurance coverage.
All clinical psychology residents are provided with appropriate office space and equipment, secretarial assistance, and other resources necessary for their clinical activities.
Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate is awarded by Brown University.
