Internship Applications
08/09 Academic Year
The Consortium prefers students currently matriculated in an American Psychological Association (APA) approved doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. All candidates for admission will have adequate preparation for Internship as indicated by a statement from the applicant’s Program Director. There are no specific hour requirements for formal, supervised practicum training.
Applications for the Psychology Internship are due in the Training Office by November 1, 2007. The internship year starts on July 1st. The training program observes the guidelines regarding timing of internship offers and acceptances adopted by the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and the Counsel of University Directors of Clinical and Counseling Programs. This internship site agrees to abide by the APPIC policy that no person at this training facility will solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant. 1) APPIC application
2) Current curriculum vita
3) CD containing Part 1 only of APPIC application and your curriculum vitae, labeled with your name and the track you are applying to.
4) Graduate School Transcript (in sealed envelope from Registrar).
5) Three letters of recommendation (in sealed envelopes with signature on envelope).
6) Application Supplemental Form (designating the track you are applying to and optional questionnaire).
7) Neuropsychology Supplement Form (completed only by applicants to Neuropsychology track).
Upon completion of your application, you may be invited for a personal interview. Invitations for interviews will be emailed by November 26th with instructions for setting up an interview. Personal interviews while not a required part of the selection process are strongly encouraged. Please keep in mind that most interns who come here are interested in combining clinical and research work in their careers.The schedule for interviews is:

ADULT TRACK: January 4, 7, 8, 11 and 14.
HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY/BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE TRACK: January 7, 11, 14 and 17.
CHILD TRACK: January 4, 8, 10, 14 and 16.
NEUROPSYCHOLOGY TRACK: January 4, 8, 10, 11 and 16.
