Although the Consortium makes every effort to keep stipends uniform across all fellowships, individual hospital administrations set stipend levels. For the 12-13 year most stipends are $39,264 for first year fellows and $41,364 for second year fellows. Fellows may be hired by the University or one of its affiliated hospitals.
Availability of travel and research funds varies across fellowships and should be individually negotiated.
Health insurance benefits are included in all fellowship positions.
Vacation days are provided. Professional days to attend conferences, job interviews, etc., also vary by site, and should be negotiated individually.
Maternity Leave policy varies across fellowships. Individual hospital or university administration set leave policy. For further information contact the employer's HR representative.
