1.Attention and Interpration Modification for Panic Disorder (AIM-Panic)
This project seeks to develop AIM, a new computer program designed to help people develop healthy mental habits related to anxiety. We are seeking volunteers with panic attacks. If you qualify, you may be asked to participate in up to two interviews, and a 4-week study, in which you would complete the computer program up to 8 times and then provide feedback about it. You will be paid $40 for participating in each of the interviews (up to $80 total).

2. Psychosocial treatment for depression and chronic low back pain.
Are you suffering with back pain? Do you struggle with sad mood or lack of interest in daily activities? If you answered yes to these questions, you may be able to receive free treatment as part of a research study. If it seems like the study might be a good match for you, you will be randomly assigned to one of two programs. 1. Care Management. This will involve monthly phone calls with a care manager who will call you to talk about your symptoms, discuss your treatment, and provide you with assistance in getting treatment that you need  2. Program for Emotional and Physical Pain (PEPP). This will involve up to 10 meeting with a behavioral health specialist at your primary care doctor’s office. In these meetings, you will receive help with: coping with sad mood, lack of interest, and chronic pain, determining what life goals are important to you; and taking steps toward achieving your important goals. TO LEARN MORE, CALL MARELIN AT 401-444-1944

3. E.S.C.A.L.A.: Study About Cancer Advising American-Latinos

4. ASPREE (Aspirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly)
Aspirin may help older people to live well for longer by delaying the onset of illnesses.

5. EXSCEL
The purpose of this study is to assess the effectivness and safety of a once weekly dose of Exenatide injection on type 2 diabetes, as well as its effect on cardiovascular disease. Exanatide or placebo will be given once weekly. Exenatide is currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration when given twice per day. This study is intended for patients who are having diffculty controlling their blood sugars and already have cardiovascular disease.


6. CANTOS (Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Study) (Reduction in Recurrent Major CV Disease Events)
The purpose of this trial is to test the hypothesis that canakinumab treatment of patients with motivational interviewing at least one month prior to study entry and elevated hsCRP will prevent recurrent cardiovascular events.

7. Improving Mood in Pregnancy Study.
Are you pregnant? Feeling stressed? Practicing yoga or learning more about keeping yourself and your baby healthy may help. If you are between 12 and 26 weeks pregnant with a single child and age 18 or older, we invite you to call for more information. Researchers at Butler Hospital and Brown University are conducting a study examining two different programs to see if they help with stress and sad mood during pregnancy.  Eligible women are randomly assigned to either Prenatal Yoga or a Mother and Baby Wellness Workshop. 8. Healthy Body Healthy Mind Study.
Are you taking a medication for depression but still not feeling as good as you would like? Having a healthy body and healthy mind are closely connected. Practicing yoga or learning to live a healthier lifestyle may help you feel better.
